This story makes me smile.
It also makes me wonder about the global impact of Obama's candidacy. I think in America we don't think enough about what this means for the world.
And not in that the-world-will-trust-America way.
But:
How do Black folks in the diaspora outside of America feel when they see Barack?
Do Black folks around the world walk a little taller? Try a little harder?
Do little black boys around the world suddenly dream bigger?
I bet they do.
